CHOPHOUSE synopsis (blurb):
As a sinister night falls over the laid-back, rural community of Dominic County, a restless evil plots its escape from years of confinement. A violent storm is on the rise, and before the light of day returns to the quiet woodland town, many will come to believe the gates of Hell have broken open and the Devil's minions have been let running loose to spread terror and death there. For some of the more unfortunate ones, they will not only speculate about it but will have to fight to make it through the dreadful night alive. A family on vacation; a sheriff with a tragic childhood; a scared schoolteacher with a living secret that's seeking an end; an elderly man and his two neglectful sons who've always known the danger existed yet survived unwilling to be afraid of it; a young woman who's looking for love in the wrong place at the wrong time; an outsider ambulance driver who finds himself needing medical care; and a host of other unwitting victims struggling against forces of madness and wickedness unlike anything they would've dared imagine. A diabolic freight train carrying insanity and murder is barreling down the towering, dark woods known to the locals as Horror Hill, and everyone in its way is getting a free-ticket ride to the other side. . . .
